Announcement comes on heels of endorsement from NC Values Coalition, one of North Carolina’s largest faith-based grassroots organizations

Olive: “Chad Slotta and I share the same conservative principals, grounded in faith – his vision and determination can get America back on the right track.”
Holly Springs, N.C. – Former Apex Mayor Lance Olive today endorsed Chad Slotta in the race for North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District. The announcement comes on the heels of an endorsement for Slotta from the NC Values Coalition, one of North Carolina’s largest faith-based grassroots organizations.

Slotta, a pastor of 20 years and father of three teenagers in Wake County Public Schools, said,“For too many in Congress, politics is their religion and government is their savior. I’m grateful for the support from Mayor Olive, and in Congress I’ll work to realign America with the Judeo-Christian values, constitutional conservative principles, and America First policies that make us great.”

Former Mayor Olive said, “When I first met Chad, I could tell right away he was the kind of political outsider that I wanted to represent me in Congress. As a pastor, family man, and small business owner for years, he’s got the life experiences necessary to represent our shared core principles of life, liberty, and family values. He’s an unwavering ally in the pro-life movement, knows how to curb the government spending spree, and he has the conservative credentials and backbone to help realign America.”

Olive served Apex as councilman and mayor from 2009 to 2013 and 2015 to 2019. He still lives in Apex and works in the electronics and technology sector.
